2017 Chinese Cultural Immersion Camp in China for NZ High School Students

The Chinese Cultural Camp is an annual project sponsored by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Canterbury. The goal of the camp is to improve the participants’ understanding of Chinese culture and their Chinese language proficiency and skills.

Province or City to Visit

Students will visit Beijing and Wuhan in China.

Activities

All planning and logistics are handled by the New Zealand Confucius Institutes and Hanban, allowing for a fun and easy trip. The programme will include Chinese language classes, cultural workshops, as well as trips around the local areas. Students will have the chance to interact with Chinese high school students and their families and get a glimpse into everyday Chinese life.
